Forehead / Brow Lift
Downward movement of the facial soft tissues is a well-known sign of the facial ageing. Face-lift and neck lift procedures improve the mid-face and lower face. Brow lift and forehead lift procedures are performed to rejuvenate the upper face and eye region. Releasing the soft tissues of the forehead and eye region from the underlying bones, raising them upwards and fixing the tissues on the new uprward position are the three main steps of the procedure. Soft tissue releasing step may be performed trough direct open surgery or closed/endoscopic (small surgical incisions and surgical cameras are used in this technique) surgery.
Forehead and browlift may be combined with other facial rejuvenating procedures, such as face-lift or blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery).
